Getting There
Frequently Asked Questions
Are flights included?
Which airport do I need to fly into/home from?
What time can I board the ship on embarkation day?
Embarkation starts from 18:00.
Is there WiFi onboard?
Yes, free WI-FI is available to all guests onboard.
What is the dress code onboard?
We want to you feel comfortable on board, the dress code is casual during the day and in the evening smart casual. Think what would I wear for a meal out in a restaurant at home?
What about gratuities?
A tip of €5 to €10 per person per day is a common guideline, but each passenger is, of course, free to give any amount they feel appropriate.
For your convenience, an envelope will be placed in your cabin on your final evening aboard. You can leave it in the designated box at the reception desk when you disembark.
Clothing
Comfortable, casual clothing is appropriate both onshore and onboard and we suggest lightweight clothing that can be layered. Shorts are appropriate for most tours, however long pants may be required for inside visits on some excursions. Your cruise manager will advise when and if this is required. You may find a significant amount of walking over uneven terrain during your time ashore. We recommend comfortable walking shoes with good ankle support. Sturdy sandals are another good option. Don’t forget to pack a lightweight, waterproof jacket (preferably hooded) or even a heavier-weight wind-breaker for cooler temperatures. Also, keep in mind that the barge, coaches and other venues visited on our itinerary may be air conditioned and possibly quite cool. We recommend that you pack a lightweight sweater or long sleeve shirts and carry them with you on excursions.
Are airport transfers included?
Transfers are not included. Pre/Post cruise hotel packages including airport-hotel-ship transfers are available. Please contact the office for details.
What time is disembarkation from?
You will be required to vacate your cabin after breakfast on the day of departure, around 09:00.
Is there an elevator onboard?
Due to the nature and layout of the vessel there are no lifts or elevators on board, however , the barge is well thought-out in terms of layout, so common facilities (restaurant, lounge bar, reception) on one level: the upper deck. There is one accessible cabin on the upper deck that is 11 m2 and has a fixed large double bed.
What is the electrical supply voltage onboard?
The MS Anne-Marie has 220-volt.
What is the currency onboard?
CroisiEurope only accepts euros on board the boats. They do not accept sterling, US dollars or any other currency. They do not accept traveller’s checks on board. Make sure you get euros before boarding, which will allow you to pay for any purchases.
CroisiEurope accepts American Express, Visa and MasterCard. You may wish to contact your bank or the company that issued your credit card to warn them that you are departing on holiday.
What to pack?
The following items are essential for any destination: sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and maybe an umbrella. It is recommended that you bring duplicates of prescription eye wear, copies of prescriptions for any medications (generic equivalents are usually easier to obtain), copies of credit card information, and copies of your passport information pages. An adaptor/transformer may be necessary (the on-board power supply is 220V) if you bring any electronic devices with you.

“ We can’t speak highly enough of Harmony Voyages and the experience they gave us on board the Amadeus for the mini cruise from Amsterdam to Rotterdam...
We enjoyed 4 nights of wonderful customer service, superb entertainment and exceptional food & drink. We cannot wait to come on board again soon!”

“This was our first river cruise with Harmony Voyages. It certainly won’t be our last…
Everything was simply superb from the moment we embarked on the Amadeus Cara in Passau until we disembarked a week later in Budapest. The ship, the crew, the itinerary, the cabin, the food, drink, ambience and the fantastic music provided by Paul Carrack and Nina Zella were simply out of this world, and massively surpassed our expectations. We can’t wait for another cruise in 2023. Keep up the great work, and hope to see you again soon. “
