Accommodation
Austria Trend Parkhotel
Vienna
MONDAY 8 – WEDNESDAY 10 JUNE 2026
At the Parkhotel Schönbrunn you can experience imperial Vienna on a truly personal level: the hotel is located in the carefully restored former guest house of Emperor Franz Joseph I. It was originally a rest stop, opened in 1787, which was taken over by Ferdinand Dommayer in 1823 and expanded into an inn. In the decades that followed, it was transformed into the venue for lavish balls, and became a byword for the Viennese lifestyle. Numerous works by Johann Strauss the elder and younger, as well as their contemporary Joseph Lanner, were premiered here. The Parkhotel Vienna was constructed from 1907 to 1908, according to plans drawn up by the Austrian architect Arnold Heymann. As well as 70 guest rooms and dining rooms, the hotel boasted a ballroom and a Viennese coffeehouse.
Your room will be a Double/Twin bed configuration, have individually controlled air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with integrated radio, laptop safe with internal socket, minibar and free Wi-Fi.

“A holiday guaranteeing a wonderful mixture of music and art, cameraderie…
All with a group of like-minded people, a wealth of workshops and walks and other engaging activities.“
Mary D’Agostino
“My husband and I took part in Paul Clark’s Austrian holiday arranged by Harmony Voyages…
Harmony’s tour director, Andy Webster, did a marvellous job keeping 25 people organised, and ensuring that we had fun! The hotels, tours and transportation were wonderful, along with Paul Clark and Margot Loft’s painting classes. Recently, we took a Viking River cruise, but this holiday surpassed Viking’s. We will be looking into future holidays organised by Harmony Voyages.”
Carol Francis
“Paul Clark and Margot provide wonderful opportunities…
In conjunction with Harmony, for painters and their partners to see the world they tour through the eyes of artists. Andy, our Harmony coordinator, was an absolute pleasure rallying us all to have optimal experiences. “
