Ixia

An all-in-one beachside hotspot within striking distance of medieval Rhodes Town, there is plenty to see along this northernmost tip of the island. Palm trees and seafront pavements envelop the inviting cobalt waves, while you will find two temples, a monastery and incredible architecture a stone’s throw from Ixia.

Pools

The hotel has two large swimming pools -the main pool and the “lazy river”, among its beautiful gardens and its palm trees. The main pool near the “Jolly Chef” Center has a length of 42m and a width of 18m. The dimensions of the “snail” shape pool are 21m x 17m. The depth of both pools is approximately 1,45m. The “lazy river” pool has a length of 30m, a depth of 1,45m and runs directly into the main pool. A children’s pool (19.5m x 9.5m x 0.40m) is also available. All pools are fresh water pools. A private underground passage facilitates the access from the main pool area to the beach. Free sun loungers and parasols are available for both pool and beach use.

The All Inclusive Plus package includes buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Epicurus restaurant. Snacks are available in the Express Restaurant for 24hrs per day. Selected international branded drinks, welcome drinks and cocktails are available from a choice of bars; alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks include bottled wine, draught beer, soft drinks, juices, cocktails and hot drinks; partially stocked mini-bar will be stocked upon arrival and replenished daily with 1 bottle of wine, 2 beers, 2 soft drinks, 2 juices and 1 bottle of water; drinks are available 10:00-01:00. Additional added extras include one visit to each of the following thematic restaurants: Marco Polo, Lukullus, Asterias and Red Elephant, thematic restaurants include a set tasting menu, daily activities and entertainment.

Buffet. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with show cooking. Highchairs and microwaves available (open between 20 Mar and 14 Nov). Please note that the hotel requests that beach wear is not worn.

Q: Is my booking financially protected?
A: Yes, your booking is a package holiday that is financially protected under our ATOL (Air Tour Operators Licence) No: 0944 which means should Harmony Voyages fail prior to your holiday you will be fully reimbursed or during your holiday, you will be flown home as per your original booking.

Q: How do I book any extras?
A: As this is a group holiday, the normal process for booking any extras does not apply.  The seats are booked in blocks on the aircraft for our group and once the holiday balances have been collected in February, Jet2 will load the final passenger names into their system, allowing us to access the bookings for those of you wishing to add any extras.

Q: Can airport hotels be arranged pre departure or after an overnight flight on the return?
A: Yes, we are happy to assist with booking airport Hotels, plus parking if required prior to your flight departure or you can book directly via our referral link here.

Q: When is the balance due on my holiday?
A: The balance is due on 5 February 2022.

Q: What is the Greek Tourist Tax and why do I have to pay it?
A: The Greek Ministry of Tourism has introduced an overnight stay tax, otherwise known as a ‘tourist tax’ that must be paid directly to the Hotel.  All Hotels are legally obliged to collect this tax when every guest checks in and they must pass this on to local authorities.  We are unable to collect this tax and pay it over on your behalf unfortunately, it must be paid on check-in at the Hotel.  €4 per room per day.

Q: How much entertainment will there be?
A: Jane McDonald will perform four evening shows during your holiday on the following dates: 03 May, 04 May, 05 May 06 May. There will also be a Q&A session with Jane, hosted by our compere Steve Walls. Support acts will be publicised on the website.

Q: What happens if Jane McDonald cannot appear through illness or something else?
A: In the first instance, you are booking a fully protected package holiday and should you decide not to travel, standard cancellation terms & conditions will apply. A full entertainment programme will still be provided and an element of compensation will be offered should Jane not be able to attend. In the scenario that either the flight cannot operate, or the hotel cannot open due to government legislation, you will have the option to a full refund of any money paid.

Q: If I stay elsewhere or book independently into the Hotel can I still attend the concerts?
A: No, access to the concerts is only for guests who have booked the official package.

Q: Can I fly from elsewhere in Europe and join the event?
A: This is a package holiday and flight are available from the following airports only: Glasgow / Edinburgh / Newcastle / Manchester / Leeds / Birmingham / East Midlands / Stansted and Bristol.

Q: Are the rooms adapted for guests with disabilities?
A: The hotel grounds are accessible. The rooms and bathrooms however are not specially adapted for guests with disabilities. There are eight elevators from the lobby, with a width of 80 cm.

Room Specifications are as follows:

The main door of the rooms has a width of 76 cm and the bathroom door has a width of 68 cm. The showers in the bathrooms are walk-in showers, with handles, therefore accessible by disabled guests and we can provide a plastic stool. Photos of the bathrooms can be provided on request.
